What it does

Training

Body map, front and back: tap what you want to train
Reps, weight and a rest timer with your own alarm sound
Set types (warm-up, working, drop set, to failure) and RPE or RIR
Supersets: chain an exercise to the next one and skip the rest
Plates per side, worked out from the kit you own
Routines you can group, duplicate and schedule, several a day if you like, plus ready-made plans
Next step: when an exercise gets easy, it offers the harder one
A live notification with the rest countdown, and a session that survives a reboot

Progress

Volume, streak, weekly goal and PRs, all from your own sets
An activity heatmap, your week rhythm and all-time totals
Strength curves with estimated 1RM, and your muscle split
Progress photos on a timeline, or the same timeline drawn as a muscle map
Bodyweight and ten body measurements, each with its own curve
A profile with levels and 20 medals
Put your workout on a photo as a sticker and share it

Exercises and tools

500+ exercises with animations and step-by-step instructions
Filters by muscle, equipment and level, and your own exercises
Swap the art of any exercise for your own photo, GIF or video
Places: say what kit you have and only get offered what fits
A training journal on a calendar, with photos and video
Six calculators: 1RM, plates, BMI, calories and macros, body fat, warm-up
Five widgets: today, this week, activity, stats and muscle map

Your data

Export to CSV or a full ZIP backup, media included, and import it back
Bring your history from Hevy, Strong, Lyfta, FitNotes, openGym or any CSV
Send a workout to Strava as a .fit file
Routine with AI: export your list, paste it anywhere, import the answer
No account, no ads, no analytics and no internet permission
Photos, videos and notes stay in the app's own storage
17 languages, light and dark themes, kg or lb
Delete everything in one tap

Nutrition (beta)

500+ foods with photos, your own foods and dishes
Calories and macros against your goal, with separate goals for rest days
Water, protein shake and supplements with reminders
Meal plans for each weekday, meal prep batches and a weekly summary
No scanner and no online database: everything stays on your phone
On by default. Don't need it? Turn it off in Settings › Beta

Quick help

An exercise disappeared from Suggested: Long-pressing it hides it only from the Suggested section, not the full exercise list. Tap Undo in the toast, or open the exercise details and turn Suggest in quick workouts back on.
What does the link icon in a routine do? It links that exercise to the next one as a superset, so there is no rest between them. Tap it again to unlink them.

Download

Get it from F-Droid, IzzyOnDroid, OpenAPK, Obtainium or the GitHub releases. On GitHub, take the arm64-v8a APK if you're not sure which one you need.

Privacy

No account, no ads and no analytics. GymMane doesn't even have the internet permission, so your training stays on your phone. The permissions it does ask for are for the rest timer, its notification and the widgets.
